Meet the Jasper Endodontics Team

Dr. Jacob Long

Dr. Jacob Long is originally from Bay City, Michigan, and received his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from Indiana University School of Dentistry in 2016.  He practiced as a general dentist in Greenwood, Indiana, for three years before returning to IUSD to complete his Masters of Science in Dentistry (MSD-Endodontics).  Dr. Long is a member of the American Association of Endodontists, the American Dental Association, and the Indiana Dental Association. He is focused on providing the highest quality of care to help our patients maintain their natural teeth and resolve their dental pain.

Dr. Long and his wife, Dr. Lauren Long are happy to call Jasper home. They have a son, James and a daughter, Maren.  Dr. Long enjoys spending time with his family, his church small group, playing golf and riding his bike. 

Dr. Allen Meier

Dr. Meier received his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree in 1990 and an additional Masters of Science in Dentistry (MSD-Endodontics) in 1995, both from Indiana University School of Dentistry. After dental school and during his masters studies, he served in the US Air Force Dental Corps for eight years, the last three as Chief of Endodontics at Hickam Air Force Base, Hawaii. In the years since he began his Endodontic specialization he has completed well over 30,000 procedures, both surgical and nonsurgical. He is currently a member of five different national, state and local dental organizations and study clubs.

Dr. Meier and his wife, Angie, reside in Bloomington, IN. They enjoy spending time with their children and grandchildren. They also love to travel to far away places.
